GBC Reunion 2005

Some amazing developments have taken place since the Greenhouse Birth Center opened in 2003. As more mothers and families have birthed at the GBC and felt connected to the place and the people, a community has grown. We like to call it "The Village". Many in our community feel supported, nourished and even inspired by their fellow "Villagers", and especially the midwives and staff at the GBC. So, as each family chooses their way of giving back, our Village grows richer, more diverse and always for the better.

Please peruse the choices here to see what keeps our Village growing, while keeping the focus always on providing birthing women a nurturing, supportive place to do the work they need to do to birth their babies. As more families are "grown" here, there is a responsibility that many former clients feel to give back so that other families can receive the extraordinary gift that is the GBC. After all, a family with resources for education, support, genuine concern and care, is a family at its best.
