Lauren moved to Lansing from New York City, and she has also lived in Georgia, Ohio, Virginia, Oregon and England. Lauren received her graduate degree in Wildlife Management, and she currently works as a wildlife ecologist. She and her husband Adam have a daughter, Bryony (a birth center baby) and two cats, Greg House and Holiday.
